We’re incredibly proud to announce that Virtual Billiard Academy student Cal Boll captured 1st place at the 2025 Gunslinger $1,000 Entry 599 & Under 9′ 9-Ball Championship held at Griff’s Billiards in Las Vegas, Nevada!

This was no small feat — 45 of the toughest competitors from across the United States and Canada brought their best games to the table. After an intense weekend of action, it was Cal Boll of Missouri who stood tall as the last man standing.

Cal showed tremendous composure and focus throughout the event. In a thrilling hill-hill battle for the hot seat, he came back from a big deficit against Phong Nguyen to win 9–8 — then carried that momentum all the way to the finals. There, Cal defeated a surging Jing Giocoso 13–10 to take home the title and the big prize!

This victory is a testament to Cal’s hard work, dedication, and the countless hours he’s spent perfecting his game through our Virtual Billiard Academy training system. It’s always inspiring to see one of our students take their skills from the online classroom to the winner’s circle!
