🏆 An Incredible Honor from Kentucky’s General Assembly 🏆

I wasn’t expecting this, but I received another recognition from the Kentucky Senate, and I’m incredibly grateful.

A special thank you to Senator Reginald Thomas for making this recognition possible and for the very kind words regarding my being named Best Pool Instructor in American Billiards History.

With this latest recognition, I also want to once again thank Senators Jimmy Higdon and Brandon Storm, along with Representative Daniel Elliott, for the recognitions I received previously. To be honored by members of both the Kentucky Senate and House of Representatives for something I’ve devoted so much of my life to is pretty special.

I know I’ve posted about these honors before, and I don’t want to sound repetitive. I simply believe that when someone takes the time to recognize you, you should take the time to publicly thank them.

So, thank you to all four of these Kentucky legislators, and thank you to my students, family, friends, sponsors, and everyone who has supported me throughout this journey. I’m very humbled and appreciative of it all.

🏆 31 APA Regional Champions — And Counting! 🏆

Congratulations to Roger Hebert and Jim Harmon, who have officially become the 30th and 31st Beeler’s Virtual Billiard Academy students to win APA Regional Championships!

Reaching 30 was an incredible milestone. Seeing #31 follow right behind it makes it even more special.

Every championship represents countless hours of practice, competition, adjustments, and determination. Roger and Jim earned their places in a growing tradition of VBA players who have taken what they learned, stepped into the arena, and delivered when it mattered most.

I’m incredibly proud of Roger, Jim, and every VBA student who has contributed to this history. The trophies belong to the players. Having the opportunity to play a part in their journeys is something I’ll never take for granted.

🏆 Congratulations, Roger Hebert — #30!🏆 Congratulations, Jim Harmon — #31!

THREE FULL DAYS OF POOL INSTRUCTION WITH LAFE KUNKEL!

I had a great weekend working with Lafe Kunkel of Harrodsburg, Kentucky, who completed my full three-day intensive pool instruction program.

Lafe is a successful businessman who builds and sells custom gun holsters to customers around the world. Away from work, he has a real passion for playing pool and wanted to dedicate an entire weekend to improving his game.

Over the course of three days, we were able to dig deep into his game. We worked on stroke mechanics, aiming, cue-ball control, position play, pattern selection, speed control, strategy, and the little details that separate inconsistent play from consistent performance.

One of the biggest advantages of a full three-day program is having enough time to identify weaknesses, make adjustments, reinforce those changes, and then put everything together at the table.

Lafe worked hard throughout the weekend, and I really enjoyed having him here. It’s always great working with another Kentucky player who loves the game and is serious about getting better.
