Beeler Defeats New Mexico Standout in Roswell Exhibition Match

While conducting a week of instruction in Roswell, New Mexico, Master Billiards Instructor Anthony Beeler participated in a featured exhibition challenge match against Leroy Weimer, widely regarded by many as one of the strongest players in the Roswell area.

The match format consisted of races to five games in both 8-Ball and 9-Ball. Beeler captured the 8-Ball set by a score of 5-3 before narrowly winning the 9-Ball set 5-4. With victories in the first two disciplines, the scheduled 10-Ball tiebreaker was not necessary.

The exhibition drew a strong crowd of local billiards enthusiasts and provided an entertaining evening of high-level competition. Following the event, Beeler expressed his appreciation to Weimer for his sportsmanship and competitive play, as well as to Dr. Steven Black for organizing the event and helping make the week a success.

“Roswell was an incredible experience,” Beeler said. “The hospitality was outstanding, the crowd was fantastic, and it was a pleasure to share the game with so many passionate pool players.”
