Anthony Beeler Recognized by the Kentucky State Senate
I’m incredibly proud and humbled to share another very special recognition from the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

I was recently honored by the Kentucky Senate for being named “Best Pool Instructor in American Billiards History” as part of the Best in Billiards national awards program.
The Senate recognition highlights my work as both a player and instructor, including Beeler’s Virtual Billiard Academy reaching more than 31,000 students across all 50 states and 102 countries, along with my BCAPL National 9-Ball Championship, Kentucky State 9-Ball Championship, and more than 300 tournament victories.
I’m especially grateful to Senator Jimmy Higdon and Senator Brandon J. Storm for sponsoring this recognition. This honor is even more meaningful because it follows a Citation of Achievement I previously received from the Kentucky House of Representatives recognizing the same distinction. To now have received recognition from both chambers of the Kentucky General Assembly is something I never imagined when I began teaching this game many years ago.

Billiards has taken me around the country and connected me with students around the world, but Kentucky has always been home. Having my accomplishments recognized by both the Kentucky House and Senate is something I will treasure for the rest of my life.
Thank you to my family, students, sponsors, friends, and everyone who has supported me throughout this journey. None of these accomplishments happen without the people who believed in me along the way.
From Kentucky to all 50 states and 102 countries — what an incredible journey it has been. And we’re not finished yet.
