Anthony Beeler Recognized by Kentucky State Senate for being selected as the Best Billiards Instructor in American History

There are moments that make you stop and reflect on an entire lifetime of work. Receiving a Citation of Achievement from the Kentucky House of Representatives naming me the “Best Pool Instructor in American Billiards History” was one of those moments.

For me, billiards has always been about more than making balls. It has been about teaching, learning, competing, writing, and finding ways to help others reach goals they once thought were beyond them. Watching students develop their skills, gain confidence, win championships, and even become instructors themselves has been one of the greatest rewards of my career.

To have that work recognized by the Commonwealth of Kentucky is deeply meaningful. Kentucky is where I learned the game, developed as a player and teacher, and built the foundation for everything I have accomplished in billiards.

I sincerely thank Representative Daniel Elliott and the Kentucky House of Representatives for this Citation of Achievement. I am also grateful to every student who trusted me with their game, every reader who followed my instructional work, and every sponsor, player, instructor, friend, and family member who stood behind me along the way.

This recognition may have my name on it, but it represents decades of shared lessons, encouragement, hard work, and unforgettable experiences. I am humbled by the honor and more motivated than ever to continue teaching and giving back to the game that has given so much to me.
